Public Policy Day for MBEs in Austin

The MBE Institute for Public Policy is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization,  structured to educate and provide minority businesses and public/private sector buying entities with public policy resources and information on minority business issues and programs that support capacity building and the meaningful and sustainable inclusion of MBEs in contracting and other procurement opportunities.

This year, they are organizing a trip to Public Policy Day in Austin for our fellow North Texas MBEs.  The Dallas contingency will be leaving via Mega Bus from the DFW Minority Council's Office at 5:45 am on March 30th on a road trip to Austin to participate in Public Policy Day in Austin to meet with the Legislature and discuss issues impacting small business and MBEs in Business.

 

 

In preparation for the event, there will be a boot camp on Wednesday, March 8th from 4pm-6pm at the DFW Minority Council. See below for more information.  To sign up, email Carmen Garcia, at CGarcia1@dart.org 

 

Join us as we head to Austin to stay involved in what our State is doing on behalf of Small Business and MBEs.
